Don't appreciate the care given by the service technician during services. Have had all my vehicles services performed by this dealer in last 5+ years. Usually after service there is some hand prints, dirt marks or indication someone was in the vehicle. This time a full sweaty/greasy hand print was left in the middle of the hood. On a brand new vehicle with less than 7000 miles is uncalled for. New cars aren't cheap and we don't buy entry level trims on top of it...and take great care of them accordingly. Would not be happy if it was on an older vehicle either. Convenience may not be as important in the future with services if noticeable change isn't had.
I was on my way home from Chicago my engine light came on I called Julie and was able to drop my car off and very thankful something to drive had my car done fixed and back within two days ! As always very good experience
I was greeted by the service dept-asked what issues I was having with my vehicle-explained the problems-received a call within an hour of dropping it off for service-they told me they could not find anything wrong with it-so i actually spoke then with the tech working on the car and explained the issues i was having with my car and he said he would go back and take a look again and make sure all connections and cables were tight and he would then call me back after that was done-I received another call then stating he found a loose battery cable-said it was ready for pickup-hopefully that will take care of the problems i was having-very nice/friendly employees
Sterling Chevrolet has restored my truck performance to like new - actually, better than new - the engine now runs more smoothly than the day it was purchased! I believe the timing chain / tensioner / or cam phaser was defective, and while it got me by for 10 years (~55,000 miles), I wish it could have been prevented or understood earlier. If adverse performance could have been detected by my truck's computer and shared via OnStar, maybe it could have been repaired much earlier than year 10 or even under warranty? In any case, Sterling Chevrolet did a perfect job of confirming the problem per the code found, and repaired it in less time than initially promised (3 days instead of 5). I very much appreciate vehicles in top performance, and am exclusively a GM owner, so restoring my truck to better than new condition makes me smile every time I drive it now. My truck starts smoothly, runs smoothly, has more power, less vibration, and already appears to be getting better gas mileage. It was very good experience as always. I had engine light flash on acceleration dropped my car off on Tuesday morning to get worked in sooner than Friday appointment if feasible as what not comfortable driving around town when light would flash and go off. I was extremely grateful they gave me a car to drive did not expect that . They worked it in diagnosed the issue made some recommendations and had my car back Wednesday. They are always honest throughly explain everything and I know what repair will cost to give them ok fix it! Wouldn���t go anywhere else at this time!
Like anyone who has owned a vehicle for a while I had some issues come up. Luckily about half the issues were covered by a service agreement, reducing my cost of repair, and those that weren't covered were reasonable and quickly fixed.
