Our daughter was the one to bring the car in for us. One of the reasons we asked for servicing was that on our last "visit" it was recommended that we get alignment work done and we requested that it be done as well as an oil change, but suddenly today, they work was NOT necessary. I am puzzled how the car healed itself. We've always felt that if work was identified as needed by Sterling Chevrolet, it was in fact needed as opposed to some other dealerships who seem to recommend unnecessary work just to generate more business! The people at Sterling Chevrolet continue to be very pleasant and kind.
After buying a new vehicle I took it in for scheduled maintenance first time went to pick it up and drove it 3 blocks noticed smell by 5 blocks check engine light came on. Turned around went back to garage and pulled in service area and it literally shook and stopped running. Told gentleman working at the counter. They called about 40 mins later to say it was just the oil stick had not been pushed down far enough causing a vacuum effect. Told them I was frightened and very upset he said they would make it up to me but when I went to pick it up second time the lady at inside service counter had no idea about it and had to go get my keys nothing was said to me by anyone..
As long as my car needs service, I'm pleased go bring it to Sterling Chevy. Service writers are always pleasant and helpful. I particularly like that they seem to take a personal interest in my car and answer questions I may have. I am a long time customer of Sterling Chevrolet and would not hesitate to recommend their service department!
I was experiencing a problem with my Bluetooth on the Equinox we purchased at Sterling Chevrolet! Julie, in the Service Dept, took the time to “pair” my phone with the Equinox. I was 100 percent pleased with the end result! Julie was very professional and kind in explaining g how the problem could be solved! It is this type of service which keeps us very loyal to Sterling g Chevrolet!!!
I was at the dealership because the week before I had my transmission flushed and the tech failed to get it full. When i began having problems I contacted the service manager, had the vehicle hauled in and ultimately had the transmission rebuilt. The service manager did everything she could to meet our needs and get the vehicle repaired and back to us as quickly as possible.
I feel that the service manager and technicians are very honest about the work that needs to be done on my vehicle. I continue to come to Sterling Chevrolet also because I think their technicians are up to date with any changes in the Chevrolet vehicles.
